ESCRS is launching a special video clip competition: My Personal Special IOL Moment.
Every one of us has had special moments in their surgical career. Experiences could have been great, educational, fun or sometimes even bad.
You can submit short video clips (time limit of maximum 60 seconds) telling your own personal story.
You can also submit a photo: The Pseudophakic Eye.
This can include eyes implanted with lenses that no longer exist, unusual cases, and artistic photographs. Choose the photo of a pseudophakic eye that impressed you the most and submit it to the contest!
The submissions will be evaluated for originality and there will be a winner for each category.
Accepted videos and photos will be projected/displayed in the 75th Anniversary tunnel during the 42nd Congress of the ESCRS in Barcelona. They will also be shown during the Opening Session and made available on the Congress website.
Free registration to the ESCRS 2025 Congress will be offered to the winners of the video and photo competition!
Submission deadline is 21 April 2024!
